Build


Hood

Step 3.01

Carefully remove the two Water Nozzles from the sprue, making sure to keep the pin on each one as shown.

I recommend using sprue cutters or a sharp hobby knife to cut these off the sprue:

Step 3.02

Gently press the pin of a Water Nozzle into this matching hole on the left side of the Hood, orienting it with the ‘nozzles’ pointing towards the rear edge as shown:

Step 3.03

Gently press the pin of the second Water Nozzle into this matching hole on the right side of the Hood. Again, orient it with the ‘nozzles’ pointing towards the rear edge as shown:

Thoughts


These Water Nozzles (windshield washer nozzles) were usually black plastic on a real Skyline GT-R R34, so I am guessing these chrome versions were just one more modification made to the movie car. Keep the unused Lock nearby as it will be installed in the next stage.
