The Thermostat
Step 01
Retrieve your engine from the previous pack. Fit the Hot Water Manifold to the rear of the engine, as shown:
Secure the Hot Water Manifold into place with four (4) MM screws.
There are two screws above the manifold…
… and two screws below the manifold. This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
Step 02
Slide the pin on the end of the Hot Water Pipe through the rectangular hole of the Timing Chain Case at the front of the engine, towards the back, and into the hole at the front of the Hot Water Manifold, as shown:
Step 03
Fit the Thermostat Fixed to the Thermostat matching the locating pin to the alignment hole as shown, and secure these together with one (1) GP screw:
Does it look like this Thermostat Fixed part is 3-D printed, or is it just me?
Step 03
Press the silver Seal Cap G, as well as the yellow Seal Cap H and Seal Cap I, onto the matching posts of the Thermostat assembly, as shown:
Thoughts
In the marketing materials, the Seal Cap G has printing on it, but my model does not. Too bad really. Still, I am loving this build so far! Keep the Thermostat assembly safely stored as it will be attached in Engine Pack 26.

I received a kit in my March and I’m finally working on it and I realized I have two of the kit 19 and I’m missing kit 18. Is there a chance I can return one of the kit 19 and get kit 18?
Not for a while at least. Eaglemoss/Die-Cast Club has gone out of business/bankrupt. You can follow the latest information I have here: https://mypartworks.com/blog/eaglemoss-bankrupt/
do you still have kit 19? sell it to me! I need it
I’m sorry, I do not have any spare engine parts.
