Return to the BUILD
“Now you will attach the Rear View Mirror to the roof of your NISSAN GT-R (R35) model.”
NOTE: Eaglemoss included a replacement Steering Column Trim with this pack. Replacing it involves taking the interior out of the chassis, so if you didn’t even notice the incorrect part before (like me), you may be tempted to just leave it alone. More details at the end of this pack.
The Rear View Mirror
Peel the backing paper from the Rear View Mirror Surface …
… and stick it into the matching recess of the Rear View Mirror, as shown.
This only fits correctly in one orientation:
Retrieve your GT-R Body assembly and turn it upside down. Fit the Rear View Mirror onto this keyed post as shown, and secure it into place with one (1) BM screw.
This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
This Roof Panel Light Cover is not used in this pack, so keep it safe for now:
The Replacement Steering Column Trim
This is the replacement Steering Column Trim supplied in this pack:
The Steering Column Trim we installed back in Pack 56 has incorrect and upside down printing on the stalks. I never even noticed this:
Eaglemoss included this leaflet inside the magazine with instructions to change it out if you want to. Click on the image below for a PDF version:
Well, I think I completed all four packs in this issue in about 15 minutes. At least we have some more windows. It will take much longer to write these articles and process all the photos. The next issue does not appear to be more interesting, but the issue after we start receiving more body panels!
