The Rear Spoiler
Step 01
Push the two pins of the Rear Spoiler Brake Light into these matching holes at the center of the Rear Spoiler, as shown. This is a press-fit connection:
Step 02
Retrieve your Trunk Lid from the previous pack. Fit the Rear Spoiler Strut to this location on the Trunk Lid, aligning the locating peg and screw post as shown:
Step 03
While holding the Rear Spoiler Strut in position, secure it to the Trunk Lid from below with one (1) HM screw.
This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
Step 04
Fit the two posts on the bottom of the Rear Spoiler into the matching holes of the Trunk Lid, making sure to align the center hole under the Rear Spoiler onto the top pin of the Rear Spoiler Strut, as shown:
Step 05
Secure the Rear Spoiler to the Trunk Lid from below with two (2) HM screws:
Thoughts
As most of these trunk part are metal, this assembly is quite heavy. It feels really nice!
